Volunteer

Volunteer opportunities abound at Whole Kids Outreach. New and returning volunteers are welcomed, where everyone is offered a unique learning and social experience.

Youth Volunteers

WKO offers unique learning and social experiences, for teens and young adults, via 1–5 day service projects. Volunteers are recruited from schools, established youth groups, and through the many relationships WKO has forged with families, businesses, and agencies throughout the country.  Our volunteer groups stay in WKO’s lovely 20-bed guest house overlooking the horse pastures and pond.  Service groups volunteer for tasks at the WKO Center, Camp Whole Kids, and out in our community.

Youth and Adult Volunteers

Hundreds of volunteers of all ages assist WKO with community events such as the Christmas Store and Easter Egg Hunt.  We also depend on our volunteers for fundraising activities, such as item and sponsor solicitation for WKO’s two Galas (dinner-auctions).

And two easy things you can do!
  1. Follow us on Facebook (@wholekidsoutreach) and “share” our posts with friends.

  2. Be an advocate for children and the poor whenever you get the chance.

I have found that among its other benefits, giving liberates the soul of the giver.
